What are Child Safety Services?
Child Safety Services are a range of supports that aim to protect children and young people who have experienced harm, or are at risk of harm. The causes of harmful situations can be far ranging, and if left unaddressed, they can have a detrimental effect on a child or young person’s physical, mental or emotional health and wellbeing. Child Safety Services step in to ensure a child’s safety, and to prevent children from being harmed.
NDIS supports for children with a disability
As a local disability care provider trusted by the community, Home Caring Rockhampton is uniquely placed to support vulnerable children and young people who are living with a disability, and provide guidance for families, foster carers and kinship carers. From personal care support to help with daily chores, skills training, community engagement, day programs, mobility assistance and transport, our team can provide personalised NDIS support to help each child thrive in daily life.
We can also help children access NDIS funding while they are in foster or kinship care, and assist with organising their supports, so that children and families get the right support that best matches their needs.
